A statuesque tree at maturity, it develops a spreading head with a sparsely branched trunk, effective for noticing the elegant, red-brown, papery bark. In transition to this stage, a fast growing, conical tree with a spread of half its height will grace your view. Grows to 60' tall and 40' wide. At every developmental stage, this tree is blanketed with twisted, blue-green needles set in pairs. Trouble free growth, adaptable to poor soil.
