Common Name: Purple Coneflower
A super-hardy plant with narrow, dark green leaves lining stems that stretch to 3' above the ground. At the top of these stems are large, daisy-like with reflexed purple rays drooping from an orange central disk, which becomes more conical with age. Blooms throughout the summer. Butterflies nectar on most varieties and birds love the dry seeds.
