Common Name: Purple Silky Wisteria
Wisteria brachybotrys ‘Murasaki Kapitan’ blooms early in mild climates with 35-45 sweetly scented purple flowers on each short cluster. It will twine clock-wise on a sturdy support. The foliage is soft yellow in fall and the showy seedpods are large and velvety.
