Common Name: Big Tuna Swiss Mountain Pine, Mugo Pine, Mugho Pine

Boldly textured, medium length needles make this sturdy, upright, multi-stemmed tree a favorite for areas in the landscape with a little more room. Very hardy and uniquely dens, 'Big Tuna' is compact, but not dwarf, and requires little or no shearing. Buds turn showy during cold winter months and stand out distinctly against dark green foliage. Excellent when used flanking an entry or as a garden focal point. Enjoys well-drained soil.
