



Common Name: Formanek Norway Spruce
A slow growing, weeping, prostrate variety with a growth rate of 3-6 inches per year. Prefers sandy, average to evenly moist, well-drained soils and cool summer climates. If staked, the branches are pendulus and show off its weeping form.; if unstaked, branches form a low, spreading dense mat excellent for creeping over rocks or as a groundcover. Dark green foliage emerges light green in spring. Tolerant of urban pollution but will not tolerate standing water. Good for small gardens.
