(Per Mike Dirr)

A rarely available groundcover....that is a native American treasure...disease and insect problems are non existent...deer resistant...pH adaptable..mottled foliage which is retained in mild winter conditions..Fragrant clove-sented flowers that persist in the Spring for 10 days. Landscape plantings over 50 years old are not uncommon.
