Common Name: Chinese Juniper
Typically this is an erect, slender, conical tree but can sometimes be quite bushy. The bark is a nice gray-brown and peels off in thin strips. Growth rate is slow to medium and tree forms will eventually reach 50-60' tall depending on the cultivar. Specific cultivars are used as ground covers, foundation plants, sheared hedges, and screens, as well as for specimens, mass-plantings and bonsai.
