Common Name: High Peaks® Maple, Grandidentatum Maple, Bigtooth Maple
This upright, relatively narrow selection of Bigtooth Maple was selected as the best performer among saplings grown from seed collected in the Manzano Mountains of New Mexico. Dense branching and tighter growth habit make it a better choice for urban landscapes than typical Bigtooth maples. Dark green summer foliage turns bright orange- red to red in autumn.
