Common Name: Fairy Magnolia® 'White'
Pyramidal shaped medium sized evergreen shrub or tree. Flowering begins late Winter to early Spring and lasts approximately 12 weeks. Profuse flowers are white, 5.5″ whorls of 9-13 overlapping petals with a noticeable, pleasant fragrance, opening from brown velvet buds. Lends itself to forming beautiful living screen & hedges, as heavy pruning does not effect flowering. Flower buds are in the axils of most leaves.
