Common Name: Evergold Sedge
Grasses generally perform poorly in shade, but their close relatives the sedges prefer it. This evergreen selection has striking, banded leaves with a central stripe that is creamy white on new growth, creamy yellow on mature foliage. Makes a bright accent in a shady corner. Best in moist but well-drained soil but tolerates dry soil better than many other sedges. Compact, tufted habit. AGM winner.
