AMOENUM, green. This cultivar has the largest leaves of all the palmatums, the better to show its famous display of fall color! The intense crimson colors of 'Osakazuki' in fall are enough to render speechless even the most verbose of us at Greer Gardens. If this tree displayed this show only one day a year, it would be well worth a garden spot. You could, however, be treated to the glorious colors over a long time, depending on the weather. A most outstanding tree with dark green summer foliage. Mature growth develops a wonderfully broad canopy on strong branches. Demand always exceeds supply.
