Jim’s Memory is a new A. palmatum named after the late, great Jim Schmidt. It was developed by Bob McCaffery of Alpine Nursery. It forms a beautiful dwarf with orange red spring growth maturing to a bright red. Fall color is red. This plant is a winner. Best guess on mature size is about 5’ by 5’.
