A vigorous ornamental shrub of varying height. It prefers a sunny well drained location; partial shade will encourage taller growth. Clusters of creamy white flowers hang down from the branches amidst the summer leaves of green above and soft gray below. The flowers age to a lovely golden color later in the fall.

Considered by many [to be] one of our finest native shrubs (L.J.Clark) this gracefully arching shrub (6-12') is "a mist of blossom when in bloom" (Van Dersal) ; a subtle flame of orange in fall. Sun/Med-Dry

Northwest native shrub with copious foamy white flowers on arching branches in early summer. Deciduous shrub 8' x 8'
