The Blue Cedar has beautiful form, giving it unmatched excellence when given the proper location to mature. Blue Cedar is relatively rapid grower when it is young, spurting about 2' or more a year. As with most cedars, this variety starts pyramidal in shape, becoming flat-topped with horizontal spreading through maturity. The branches are adorned with silvery, powder blue needles and its bark is a distinguished dark gray. [provided by Bizon Nursery Co.]
