A striking selection of the snake bark maple, named for the former Curator of Seattle's Washington Park Arboretum. Beautiful small tree to 25' (10' or so in 10 years) with startling white streaks in the pale bark. Pale yellow fall color. Sun to part shade with regular summer water. Frost hardy in USDA zone 7.

Pure white bark... outstanding!, this small (to 15-30') tree has handsome 3-lobed leaves that turn yellow in fall but its bark is show-stopping all year; the bark cant'tolerate full-sun. PSh/Med

A teg. 'Joe Witt' is a Great Plant Pick; as far as I can tell, it is very similar to White Tigress.
