Among "the most strongly scented of all the Wisterias... " (P.Valder), the purple, reddish-violet two-tone flowers of this vigorous New Zealand selection are also prolific, though smaller in size... an excellent Wisteria. SUN/Med

This is a heavily scented variety with short racemes 7-8" long of rosy purple flowers with a blotch that is yellow edged in white. Strong scent.
