A tall slender palm (to 100') whose relatively compact leaf stalks are streaked with red; an imposing tree where hardy. Sun/Med-Dry. Mexican Fan Palm tree (Washingtonia Robusta) is not quite as cold hardy as the California Fan Palm (W.flifera) but is tolerates the humidity and rainfall we get in the Pacific NW. Many of these palms grow in the Bookings & Harbor area in Oregon.
