Fantastic, stiff, gnarled foliage! Small and slow growing dwarf for the rock garden or an intimate patio of rare plants. Also a perfect specimen for a container. Underplant with the small species of daffodils and Iris and put it in a sunny spot.

A natural for bonsai; tiny rounded leaves give a layered look to this form; smaller than 'Catlin', faster than 'Hokkaido'. Sun-Psh/Med
