Another delightful Stewartia, this one a large shrub with bark that flakes to reveal smooth, pink-to-orange underbark; 1-2" white flowers are cup-shaped ; fragrant; leaves turn a rich crimson in autumn. Sun-PSh/Med

White flowers in the summer with leaves somewhat larger than Stewartia pseudocamellia. Becomes a small tree to 20 feet tall.
