The new growth is a rich red-orange, deeper than that of its parent, 'Goldflame'. In summer, the foliage loses its vibrancy but does not produce all-green reversions. Fall color is often a fiery red. The pink flowers produced in early summer play second fiddle to the foliage display. Bushy habit.
