This artfully-shaped, smaller growing selection, stays slender in habit as it develops graceful curves. Best pruned very little to achieve most artistic form. The leaves of soft yellow-green retain a golden brilliance throughout the heat of summer. In spring 4-7" racemes of creamy flowers open, offering a mild but lovely fragrance to the morning air. An incredibly pleasing tree when planted so the morning sunlight can backlight its leaves!

An outstanding small to medium-sized tree with leaves which are a rich golden-yellow from spring to autumn, creating a brilliant splash of colour in the shrub border (Hillier). Sun/Med-Dry

Somewhat smaller than species, this tree still is 45' but its yellow-green foliage summer makes the day brighter in the gloomiest weather. Zone 4.

Soft golden yellow pinnate leaves are lovely against a dark background or washed with low light. Tough tree that grows 35 ft tall x 25 ft wide.
