A petite alpine wildflower with grassy leaves forms a colorful carpet of dark pink blooms starting in early Spring. This deciduous plant spreads by stolons and is excellent in containers or mixed plantings. Prefers moist, shaded conditions when actively growing, then very dry after it goes dormant.
