Don't let the rating of this plant deter you. While it may not be a 'Trude Webster', this hardy plant is quite adaptable to unfriendly climatic conditions. The flowers are a blue-purple. A good plant with nice foliage. (catawbiense hybrid)

Dark blue-purple blooms in midseason on a hardy, vigorous, upright shrub. Foliage is medium green and glossy.
