A semi-vigorous pear rootstock. Resistant to Fireblight, crown rot, woolly aphids and pear decline. One of the most precocious rootstocks, well anchored. Slightly more dwarfing than OHxF #97 which is similar in size to common pear seedling. Propagated by cuttings or tissue culture. OHxF #8 is compatible with most pear varieties.
