The hardiest of P. tobira clones, this selection is from JC Raulston Arboretum has survived temperatures to 0 °F without blinking. Large, evergreen shrub to small tree, to 8' tall x 6' wide, has shiny, dark green, rounded leaves and, in early summer, intensely fragrant, citrus-like, white flowers. Appreciates full sun to part shade, with regular summer water until established. Frost hardy in USDA zone 7.

Tough-n-Tall' well describes this glossy 8-12' x 8-12' evergreen, perfect for hedge or accent--except for missing its small wonderfully fragrant creamy-white flowers; tolerant of drought ; salt spray. Sun-PSh/Med-Dry
