Found in snow country in the Northeast U.S., this cultivar stays thinner than Pinus strobus 'Fastigiata'. It can fit into a tighter spot and will withstand snow loads much more readily than its broader growing counterpart. Give 'Stowe Pillar' good sun and drainage and enjoy this beautiful blue-green pine.
