DWARF. Syn. 'R. H. Montgomery'. A small spruce of compact habit and very slow growth (2-4" a year), forming a delightful, rounded shrub. The beautiful blue needles are pointed and sharp. The lighter blue spring growth contrasts with the darker mature needles, putting on an appealing display. Excellent year round!

A very slow growing dwarf forming a dense symmetrical cone shape. Starting as a mound and eventually resembling a miniature Christmas tree-like shape providing attractive form and color. The silvery blue needles are pointed and fill out all the way to the ground.

This outstanding cultivar with its powder-blue needles and compact broadly spreading (to 6' tall x 5' wide in 20 years) habit is, with reason!, an old favorite. Sun-PSh/Med
