This form of Alberta Spruce is very unique and is sure to become very popular the more exposure it receives. The spring growth on the "Golden Alberta Spruce" is a creamy, light green, which turns bright golden-yellow by early summer, giving it its common name of "Golden Alberta Spruce." In Oregon it can hold its color into winter. This is a particularly nice plant with a growth habit similar to that of P.g. 'Conica'. [provided by Bizon Nursery Co.]
