You would be forgiven if you mistakenly took this plant to be an alien life form. I'm happy to tell you it isn't. It does fit its name however, with leaves of shredded ribbons, its dwarf size of 1-3', and its twisted form! Just the right size for a conversation piece and thank God it's non-fruiting.

Very dwf, with foliage so lacy as to appear ethereal, this charming little 1-3' Mulberry will win your heart at first glance (it did ours!); leaf segments are so finely cut that they curl ; dance in a breeze. S-PSh/M
