Prized for its flowers and fruit, this small deciduous tree or shrub grows to 10-20' with equal spread. Nodding, fragrant flowers appear May-June, often blooming over a 6 week period. Their white interiors feature a red to maroon "eye" of stamens, lending the flowers further contrast with the leaves. Blooms at an early age and is more wind tolerant than most varieties. Native to SE Asia.
