A new cultivar of this very useful, small-leaved, evergreen shrub with red new growth that matures to dark green with hints of red. Seems to top out at about 4' or so. Useful as formal or informal hedge, accent, or foundation plant. Full to part sun with regular summer water for best appearance. Easily pruned to shape. Frost hardy in USDA zone 6.

A brilliant flaming red is early spring, this dense 4-6' shrub is neat in habit ; appearance with glossy dark-green-tinted red foliage summer and fall; an excellent hedge, smaller ; tighter than Photinia. Sun-PSh/Med
