Flowers have broad bands of cinnamon-purple with a white center and edge. Handsome bronzy red new growth. Stems are purplish-red on the side exposed to sun.

An appropriate name! This banded laurel has a very prominent dark cinnamon-purple ring around the white flowers. You can't miss with this one. Grows 4-5'.
