Multiple sepals emerge on top of old ones, creating a double or compound look. The older florets turn pink as they age, giving the 12 to 15" panicles a lovely two-toned effect, making this one of the most beautiful sterile flowering forms available. Prefers partial shade and moist soil.

A terrific selection with flower heads that are so large they weigh down the branches. New florets appear on top of older ones, making the flowers appear to be double. This may be the showiest of the oakleaf hydrangeas.
