This is my personal favorite: the flowers are large and copper colored; the brown leaves fall off before the bloom arrives in January, and it is fragrant.

Has kinked yellow-orange flowers that glow like copper emerging from a claret-red calyx cup. Rich red and orange fall color.

Narrow crinkled flowers of orange and yellow illuminate the late winter garden. Position to catch the low winter sun. Deciduous shrub 8' x 8'
