We grow all of our witch hazels as single trunked small trees to 12'. Diane's red flowers come out in late winter. The fall color is the best of the witch hazels. zone 6

One of the best red-flowering forms, though still with a coppery tone, this lg.shrub/sm.tree also provides fine yellow-orange-red f.c. S-PSh/M

'Diane' has the deepest red of the red flowering forms. The calyx is purple-red and flowers are sweet but faintly fragrant.
