Luminous, metallic gold foliage, without the green stripes of 'Aureola'. It literally glows in a lightly shaded garden. Great with purple-leaved heucheras, and makes a striking underplanting for kalmias and rhododendrons. Grows even more slowly than 'Aureola' and is a bit less hardy. Prefers morning sun and afternoon shade.

Brilliantly golden-green, the leaves of this spectacular Japanese selection are also more upright ; spiky than the species; an eye-catcher whether in the border or in a container. Sun-PSh/Med

Luminescent golden blades shine like drops of sunlight. Slower growing than some of the other cultivars. 12" tall x 14" wide.

This gleaming, metallic gold "Forest Grass" holds its brilliant color all summer before turning tan in winter. The leaves are upright, spiky and are awesome in containers! Dan saw this glowing in the morning sun while visiting Suzuki-En in the Kowaguchi area of Japan.

The all yellow version of a garden standard in these parts. Lushly filling up an 18” diameter by midsummer, it can take rather a lot of sun or dark dark shade. Best half sun, with water. Clumping and rather slow to establish, so be patient. I know it's hard.

Foliage is completely yellow, standing upright and spiky. Great container specimen or complement for a blue foliaged companion. When the sun shines on this grass, it glitters with gold. Prefers some shade and grows to 14".
