Also know as 'Tschi Tschi' but probably named for the unusual growths found on mature Ginkgos called chi-chis. This is a dense, multi-stemmed, shrubby tree that grows in a fanlike shape. It is a fruitless dwarf that will rarely exceed 4-5'. Very good choice!

Very nice ; very unusual, this Ginkgo becomes a dense rounded shrub (perhaps 4-5' in diameter in 10 yrs), rather than a tree; quite a sight when it turns gold in fall, but attractive always. Sun/Med

Dense small tree with corky pointy bark projections. Slow growth to 10' tall by 3-4' wide. Golden fall color as all the blessed Ginkgos have.

Instead of a majestic 60' tree, this is a shrubby 16' mound. The leaves are smaller too although still the distinctive shape. Zone 4.
