Blue Shadow is an excellent replacement for the anemic Fothergilla gardenia 'Blue Mist'. It is even bluer, much more vigorous, and considerably tougher than Blue Mist. The shrub originated from a 'Mt. Airy' plant, and retains the dwarf and dense character of its parent. (Heritage Seedlings)
