Another form of this most stately tree. The black-purple leaves clothe the branches like a velvet stole. Leaves will glisten royally in the sunshine. This selection becomes a large, dignified specimen.

Large, glossy, maroon-black leaves make this larger, broad-crowned variety one of the best; a magnificent tree. Sun/Med

Large lustrous purple leaves on on a large tree. Zone 5.
