Golden-yellow edges the evergreen foliage, creating a bright spot in the garden. Small, fragrant, silvery flowers are sometimes followed by re-orange berries.Very adaptable and low maintenance. Tolerates heat, wind and dry soils. Performs in Sun- part shade conditions. Makes an excellent hedge; prune once or twice annually to keep its shape.The Royal Horticultural Society has awarded 'Gilt Edge' its Award of Garden Merit.
