Evergreen.Special for its autumn coloring, this fern will grow in almost any soil with good drainage. Preferring semi-shady conditions, it can grow in deep shade to sunny areas. Polished, loosely spreading, 18" blades, open to rich coppery-gold, orange or red shades and eventually turn deep green. Excellent border fern. Native to Japan.

Exotic coppery-pink fiddleheads unfurl into fleshy golden-green fronds (to 3') which mature to a rich leathery green; easy. Shade-PSh/Med

Fronds unfurl with hues of rich orange-red; colors right out of autumn in New England. Evergreen and clumping to 2' tall and wide.

New foliage is coppery-pink. Evergreen.
