Exhibits a narrow, columnar form with upright branching and dark green to blue-green foliage. Does very well in a wide variety of locations, from the marine Pacific northwest, to Hawaii, to (of course) Italy. Grows to 20 to 30" in height with a width of 3-5' at maturity.

The cypress of the ancients ; Van Gogh, this 50-90' tree of columnar habit was introduced from the mountains of Iran into Italy long before such things were recorded ; is now a common sight throughout the Medit. S/M
