Striking (but not really "red"), the deep purple-red buds of this handsome small (20-30') tree open to bright (as in BRIGHT!) pink flowers, a springtime showcase for woodland's edge, small yard, or any yard! Sun-PSh/Med

Appalachian Red as you might guess is the reddest of the Redbud flowers; With profuse flowering on a vigorous hardy tree, this one is a winner. The size shown is what you actually would get.
