The bluest of the blue flowers adorn this small shrub from late summer to frost. Bees and hummers love 'em. A low-growing, deciduous shrub, to 3-4 ft tall and wide, with long gray-green leaves on arching branches, easily cut back to maintain size. Likes good drainage, in all but heavy, wet clay, in full to part sun with little summer water once established. Said to be deer resistant. Definitely frost hardy down to -20F, USDA zone 5. Does well in container.

Deep blue flowers contrast nicely with the silvery gray green leaves on this low growing cultivar. The deepest blue of the Bluebeard family.
