This is an especially nice selection of barberry with rose-pink new foliage mottled with deeper red-purple and sometimes lighter blotches. The leaves turn to deep claret in summer and finally scarlet in the fall. Its a smaller form and usually only reaches 3 to 4'.

A very colorful shrub with rose-pink new growth that is mottled and streaked with red-purple. The leaves mature to a deep crimson-purple. Tolerates dry soil. AGM winner.
