Deciduous tree with a lovely, arching vase-shaped habit and domed canopy. Fern-like, compound foliage emerges green in the spring, changes to a dark red, then by the summer is reddish-bronze to chocolate brown. Fuzzy pinkish and white flowers show up in late summer and transform into flat seed pods in the fall that persist into winter. Drought resistant once established, as well as tolerant to some salt spray. (gardenworldonline.com)
