This is an upright, strong grower, with a seven-lobe dissectum leaf form and orange winter bark color on newer growth. New leaves emerge orange and turn green in summer, with orange petioles. New growth in summer looks like orange candles against the mature leaves. Fall color is bright red, accompanied by orange and green. Needs well-drained soil. (Source: Wolff Nursery LLC)

Upright, strong grower with a seven-lobe dissectum leaf form that emerges orange/salmon color and turns green by mid-June. August growth is orange candles against the mature green leaf. Bark is green at base with orange above the trunk which holds year round. Fall is a rainbow change from the top down, bright red with yellow/green leaves below. Eventually its all bright red by end of October. If there is no heavy frost, the leaves will be orange in November. 15-18 feet tall with a width of 10-12 feet. Draining soil is best.
