MATSUMURAE, red. Its short, bushy habit makes this maple a splendid container plant. Foliage is interesting with leaves bunched at the end of each shoot. Red leaves are deeply divided into narrow lobes with serrated margins. Soft, sunset colored new foliage and glowing sunset colors in fall.

Oregon Sunset forms a small rounded soft-looking tree with excellent leaf color from spring (sweet red) to fall (sharp red). You can see from Michael Healy's photo that the leaves droop down and in providing that cuddly look.

New ; outstanding, this 4'(in 10 years) to 12' compact tree has finely dissected leaves that are soft-RED in spring, plum-red in summer, and sunset-RED! in fall; fine for container or yard. Sun-PSh/Med
