The tiny, 5-lobed leaves (some less than 1"!) of this beautiful dwarf (to 3') are variegated during spring with minute ; variable specks of white, cream, pink, ; red... "quite brilliant"(Vertrees); rare ; choice. Sun-PSh/Med

Goshiki kotohime is similar to Shishigashira in habit, but is more of a dwarf. It can have beautiful pink and white variegation on its second growth. It is one of the first maples to leaf out in the spring, so it will need frost protection. (Dwarf old harp)

A dwarf with thick short branches, it can get to be 6' tall. The new leaves come out pinkish. Fall color is orange. zone 6
