Is this an incredible color, or what? There are several cultivars which exhibit this same spring foliage, but Corallinum is the first among equals. This color lasts through early summer and then the small leaves turn a nice, often blotchy crinkled green, still interesting. The tree itself is more of a bush with fine twiggy growth. zone 5

AMOENUM, green. Perhaps one of the most talked about maples with its unique, spectacular peach-pink spring leaves. This glorious foliage slowly matures in summer into an enjoyable apple green. In the fall it turns deep red. A great plant for the smaller garden, it makes a slow growing, twiggy shrub. Very Special!

Its bright shrimp-pink foliage in spring makes this dense round 3-8' shrub as showy as a flowering shrub; bright-green all summer, it then flames again, this time into scarlet for the fall. Sun-PSh/Med
